How to be an Artist - Alice Sheridan

This month's guest is Alice Sheridan, a London-based abstract artist best known for her bold abstract landscape paintings. Alice is also a wonderful coach and teacher and has been a huge help to me over the last year or so. I was delighted when she agree to sit down for this interview.During our chat, we discussed:

  • Why it's so hard to call yourself an artist
  • Whether we ever really shake off 'imposter syndrome.'
  • How to handle rejection of our work
  • Why it's important to show only our very best work
  • Why Alice works in an abstract fashion
  • How to get the most out of a sketchbook

You can see more of Alice's beautiful work on her website at Alicesheridan.com or on Facebook at www.facebook.com/AliceSheridanArt.
