This portrait was painted over many weeks as part of an ongoing project. My goal was to explore my fascination with Tracey, both as an artist and as a woman, I suspect this fascination is related to her honesty and absolute lack of artifice and in this series of works, I tried to capture that side of her nature. (My feet are shown in the photo for scale!)
