Reasons to be Cheerful Part 1
I do love the song Reasons to be Cheerful Part 3, by Ian Dury and the Blockheads and it came to me as a title for 3 paintings I was making, all at the same time. They were all begun as demos for my Find Your Joy course, and I fell in love with the colour palette. In recent years, I’ve had to navigate some challenges in my life, and it has sometimes felt hard to access joy - and yet these colourful, energetic paintings prove to me that it lives within me. It is always there :)
