This painting is one of the most recent in the show. It was begun in 2024 and then abandoned for over a year! Eventually it was finished at the end of last year and was one of the last abstract landscape paintings I ever made.
The painting is on a wooden panel which has been built up with layers of paint and collage. The layers have been sanded back many times, creating interest and patina close-up.
