This painting was a failure for such a long time. Eventually, I sanded back the surface and then I began to play with the marks that were left - changing the colours, manipulating the movement of the eye around the surface and brightening or desaturating colours as needed. Eventually I finished it in January of 2026 and I absolutely love it!
